a chocolate making kit is fun for everyone

Sep 27, 2007

It’s been well documented that Girlawhirl is indeed a chocoholic. She can’t get enough of the stuff. Dark and rich, light and milky, in between, filled with fruit or nuts, topped with salt, really, anything goes. She would love to be able to whip up some delicious coco flavored treat at the drop of a hat, but since she hasn’t had any formal training, she leaves the delicious dirty work to the pros. But after a recent invite to a Super Pal’s kid’s birthday celebration, Girlawhirl has new hope she can be a Chocolatier in her spare time…

To keep the kids entertained, Girlawhirl’s Super Pal supplied the partygoers with Make Your Own Chocolate Kits from Glee Gum. With everything needed to make homemade chocolate included, from the certified organic cocoa butter to cocoa powder and confectioner’s sugar, everyone simply opened the boxes and got down to it, creating their own chocolate step by step.

With directions included for easy microwave or double boiler use, Girlawhirl helped her Super Pal teach the kids how to make chocolate (and patience – there’s a lot of stirring involved) and also about the origin of chocolate and how it makes its way to their candy stores today, all thanks to Glee Gum’s comprehensive kit.

But the real fun came from the individuality in the chocolate. Everyone added fruit, nuts and special salts to spice up – and personalize – their creations. Kids or not, Girlawhirl’s already planning the chocolaty combos she’ll attempt with her next Chocolate Kit. She’ll be a Chocolatier yet!

Girlawhirl found her Make Your Own Chocolate Kit online at gleegum.com.
