1% For The Planet exists to build and support an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet. In recognition of the true cost of doing business, members like Verve, inc. donate 1% of their sales to environmental organizations worldwide. 1% For The Planet enables businesses to take a lead role in being environmental stewards and to set an example for the rest of the business community. Members embrace the notion that the sustainability of the natural environment is fundamental to the sustainability of business.

American Vegetarian Association

The AVA was created to promote the interests and concerns of individuals and organizations involved in the preservation, propagation, and distribution of vegetarian ideas and products. The primary goal of the AVA is to provide a widely recognized certification program which will enable vegetarian-minded people to make accurate food choices, being certain they can be confident in their selection and that of the manufacturer's claims.

Green America

Green America is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to harnessing the economic power of consumers, investors and businesses to promote social justice and environmental sustainability. Green America's Business Seal of Approval is granted to companies like Verve, inc. which have successfully completed Green America's screening process and have been approved to be listed as a socially and environmentally responsible —or green—businesses in their National Green Pages™ directory. Consumers can feel confident that business bearing this seal operate in ways that support workers and communities, as well as protect the environment.

Feingold Association of the United States

An organization of families and professionals founded in 1976, The Feingold^® Association of the United States is dedicated to helping children and adults apply proven dietary techniques for better behavior, learning and health, and to generating public awareness of the potential role of foods and synthetic additives in behavior, learning and health problems.

Women's Business Enterprise National Council

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) was founded in 1997. It has since become the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations. It also is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. WBENC works to foster diversity in the world of commerce with programs and policies designed to expand opportunities and eliminate barriers in the marketplace for women business owners. Trees for the Future

Trees for the Future is an agroforestry resource center focused on bringing sustainable land management programs to developing countries. Verve, inc. is proud to partner with Trees for the Future in their tree planting program. With tree planting initiatives in Central America, Trees for the Future helps to strengthen the forests and cultivate sustainable communities. Glee Gum is already derived from trees. Now we can invest in keeping forests fertile for years to come!
